Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Practical, hands-on experience is highly valued.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security administration or a related role.
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+) are highly desirable.
Required Skills
  • Proficiency in threat intelligence and data analysis from various cybersecurity platforms.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, architecture, and security technologies, including firewalls, IDS, IPS, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with cloud security principles and experience in securing cloud environments.
  • Ability to create and maintain documentation for security systems, procedures, and incident response plans.
  • Experience with scripting or programming languages for task automation and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements relevant to cybersecurity.
  • Strong incident response and crisis management skills.
  • Proactive approach to continuous improvement and staying current with cybersecurity trends.
  • Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to assess the costs and benefits of potential actions.
  • Strong leadership abilities, including mentoring and guiding junior team members.
