Job Title: Surgery Scheduler and Back Office Admin

California Foot & Ankle Centers is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Surgery Scheduler and Back Office Admin to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Surgery Scheduler and Back Office Admin will be responsible for scheduling surgeries, coordinating with patients, physicians, and surgery locations, and ensuring accurate and timely paperwork. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule surgeries, follow-up appointments, and other medical procedures
  • Work with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely information
  • Coordinate and route paperwork, including medical records and insurance information
  • Follow all written policies, procedures, and protocols of the clinic, hospitals, and surgery centers
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Identify and implement solutions to improve scheduling results and meet predetermined goals
  • Adhere to policies regarding safety, confidentiality, and HIPAA guidelines
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years of surgery scheduling experience in Northern California
  • High school diploma required; Associate college degree preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other office software
  • Experience working in EHR systems, especially EPIC
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
