Job Summary

Lowe's Companies is seeking a highly skilled Night Operations Department Supervisor to lead and enable a team of associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences in our stores. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring non-selling operations to ensure seamless store operations and maximize sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor non-selling operations to ensure seamless store operations
  • Collaborate with front-end and back-end operations associates to ensure adequate stocking
  • Monitor use of store power equipment and coach employees on safe behaviors and lifting techniques
  • Coach and train associates, delegate tasks, and manage performance
  • Ensure adequate department coverage and drive efficiencies
  • Communicate with other Department Supervisors and Assistant Store Managers to determine effective methods for meeting service, operations, and safety objectives
  • Conduct safety walks, report hazards, train and monitor staff, and understand all safety and lifting requirements
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a retail environment or 5 years of experience in a retail environment
  • Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility)
  • Experience supporting or participating in the process of training, mentoring, and developing associates
  • Experience working cross-functionally
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as may be required by law
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting front-end or back-end operations in a retail environment
  • Experience in customer service role
  • Experience in a leadership role with direct report responsibility
  • Experience working in the home improvement retail sector
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
  • Experience in key carrying role with manager-on-duty responsibilities
  • Experience using store computer systems (including but not limited to: Project Tool, Genesis, Sterling, M2O, Thin Client, etc.)
