Job Summary

The Employment Development Department is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Office Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing data collection systems, and performing various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide receptionist and attendance clerk duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.
  • Maintain and manage data collection systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide clerical support, including scheduling interviews, preparing documents, and performing other administrative tasks.
  • Assist with documentation, including updating records and maintaining files.
  • Provide backup support for Operations Support Assistant, as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to type at a minimum speed of 40 words per minute.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Working Conditions

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship by the start date of employment.

Special Requirements
  • The position requires the ability to type at a minimum speed of 40 words per minute. You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet this requirement prior to being hired.
