The Children's Home of Pittsburgh is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for a variety of duties related to HR operations, including recruiting, onboarding, leave of absence, employee relations, and other assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit and hire top talent to join our team
- Develop and implement effective onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new employees
- Manage leave of absence and employee relations cases in a fair and timely manner
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees and management
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration
- Associate's degree in Human Resources or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with payroll and 401(k) a plus
- General knowledge of accounting and HR principles
- Strong computer and organizational skills, with experience in HR/Payroll software and Microsoft Office products
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and responsibilities
