The Los Angeles LGBT Center is on the lookout for a committed Employee Relations Specialist to become a vital part of their People & Culture team. This position is pivotal in cultivating a welcoming and inclusive workplace atmosphere for all staff members at the Center.

Position Overview:
  • Act as a reliable consultant on employee relations issues
  • Oversee inquiries into complaints and disputes
  • Formulate and execute plans for addressing employee relations challenges
  • Guarantee adherence to labor laws and regulations
  • Administer leave of absence initiatives
  • Facilitate training sessions on employee relations and inclusivity
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience in employee relations
  • Familiarity with labor laws, especially in California
  • Excellent communication and conflict management abilities
  • Commitment to LGBTQ advocacy and social equity
