Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated HR Manager / Recruiter to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment: Manage the recruitment process including job postings, interview scheduling, and initial candidate screenings.
  • Benefits Management: Oversee benefits administration including Medical, Dental, Vision Plans, COBRA, and 401(k) management.
  • Payroll Assistance: Support payroll processes and ensure accuracy.
  • Compliance Reporting: Coordinate reporting and compliance efforts including EDD and EEOC reports.
  • Job Descriptions: Create and maintain accurate job descriptions for various roles within the organization.
  • Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork and orientation.
  • Employee Support: Address routine employee inquiries and maintain accurate records.
  • HR Procedures: Ensure adherence to HR procedures and processes for compliance and efficiency.
  • Personnel Records: Establish and maintain comprehensive employee personnel records.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop initiatives aimed at enhancing employee morale and fostering teamwork.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between different branches of the company to optimize communication.
  • Independent Functioning: We require an experienced HR Manager capable of working independently.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of HR experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • In-depth knowledge of Federal and State employment laws, particularly in California.
  • Experience across multiple states is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with payroll systems, including understanding of PTO, garnishments, and cafeteria plan deductions (ADP experience is a plus).
  • Ability to navigate Human Resources transactions and processes effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong sense of urgency in addressing HR-related inquiries from stakeholders.
  • Proficient in drafting professional correspondence.
  • Adaptable to change.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
  • Highly organized with a collaborative mindset.
