Job Title: Employee Relations Specialist

Harvest Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Employee Relations Specialist will be responsible for interpreting and adapting guidelines, policies, and regulations to ensure consistent administration of labor contracts. The ideal candidate will have excellent judgment, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analysis to ensure consistency with laws and arbitral precedent.
  • Prepare graphs, charts, and summaries to present economic implications of management and labor contract proposals.
  • Provide recommendations for language, cost, and impact on operating requirements for labor contract proposals.
  • Assist in preparing curriculum for administration of labor agreements and employee relations.
  • Review grievance records and research arbitration decisions to identify areas of existing contracts causing operating difficulties.
  • Present case information in administrative forums for bargaining unit clarifications and related hearings.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years relevant experience.
  • Required knowledge of labor relations and human resources principles.
  • Maintains confidentiality.
  • Advance MS Office and administrative duties.
  • Personable, flexible, and able to handle pressure zones well.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, multitask, strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid California Class C Driver License.

Compensation:

The hiring range for this position is $56.00 to $63.00 per hour. The base pay will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
