Role Summary: The Table Games Supervisor is accountable for overseeing the effective operations of the Table Games section, ensuring game integrity, and delivering an unforgettable gaming experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Make informed recommendations regarding hiring, terminations, promotions, and transfers while providing training opportunities and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Encourage a culture of growth and development by offering continuous feedback to help team members achieve their personal and professional aspirations.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities through ongoing assessment, support, and motivation of team members.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor, serving as a role model for all staff.
  • Welcome all guests and team members with a friendly and approachable attitude.
  • Stay informed about current and upcoming promotions and events at Odawa Casino Resort.
  • Propose enhancements to processes and customer service, including innovative solutions and policy modifications.
  • Monitor gaming activities at assigned tables to ensure accuracy, manage fills, credits, money changes, and uphold game security.
  • Engage with guests to ensure a memorable gaming experience.
  • Enforce Table Games Policies and Procedures diligently.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for assigned shifts.
  • Keep the Table Games Shift Manager updated on the status of assigned tables.
  • Address minor disputes and rectify errors at assigned tables.
  • Monitor guest consumption and respond appropriately based on TIPS training.
  • Adhere to established departmental procedures and applicable laws, demonstrating responsibility through TIPS Program training.
  • Utilize effective decision-making approaches to resolve issues that may arise.
  • Input table game and player data into the computer system accurately.
  • Participate in all required meetings.
  • Complete all necessary training satisfactorily.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Be prepared to work at other properties as needed.
  • Perform all other job-related duties as assigned within the scope of the position.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Table Games, including one (1) year of supervisory training or experience.
  • Proficiency in three (3) major games offered at Odawa Casino Resort; Blackjack plus Roulette, Craps, and/or Poker.
  • Ability to pass an audition/test based on previous Table Games experience.
  • Knowledge of Tribal Minimum Internal Control Standards (TMICS).
  • Capability to efficiently supervise up to eight (8) games during a shift.
  • Excellent communication skills as demonstrated during the audition and throughout employment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with tact and diplomacy in handling verbal confrontations.
  • Exceptional written communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • General knowledge of computers, word processing software, and gaming management software.
  • Ability to quickly learn specialized software programs.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Flexibility with shifts and days off, including the ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
  • May be required to pass a skills assessment test to determine if minimum qualifications are met.
  • Exposure to loud noise levels and a smoke-filled environment.
  • Ability to obtain a gaming license in accordance with regulations established by the LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission.
