  • Public Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with local government, community leaders, and other stakeholders to promote the resort's image and reputation.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience: At least six years of demonstrated, broad-based operational success in a Senior/Executive Management position in the gaming industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build and motivate high-performing teams, drive business growth, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain business and organizational relationships.
  • Cultural Competence: Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural setting, with a deep understanding of the Odawa Casino Resort's values and mission.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Class III gaming regulations, laws, and policies governing casino operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Native American Preference: Preference will be given to Native Americans in accordance with applicable tribal law.
  • Coaching and Development: Experience in coaching and developing candidates into organizational leadership positions.
  • Gaming License: Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license in accordance with the regulations established by the LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission.
