Role Summary: The Room 94 & Victories Operations Lead is accountable for assisting the Room 94 & Victories Manager in overseeing the comprehensive functioning of the Room 94 and Victories sectors during a designated shift. This role is pivotal in cultivating an engaging atmosphere that draws and retains gaming patrons while adhering to established operational benchmarks. The Operations Lead guarantees that exemplary service is provided by the Team Members throughout their shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make recommendations regarding hiring, termination, promotions, demotions, transfers, training opportunities, merit increases, performance evaluations, and staff scheduling, ensuring fair treatment of all Team Members.
- Encourage a culture of learning and development; support individual growth through ongoing feedback to achieve personal and professional aspirations.
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner, serving as a role model for all Team Members.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities through continuous assessment, guidance, and encouragement of Team Members.
- Stay informed about all current and upcoming promotions and events at Odawa Casino Resort.
- Propose enhancements to processes and customer service, innovative solutions, policy modifications, and significant deviations from established policies.
- Assist in various roles within the department as needed during staffing shortages.
- Prepare and cook food as required, adhering to all food service sanitation and safety protocols.
- Monitor and maintain beverage cost control methods and procedures.
- Establish methods for requisitioning and charging beverage costs and supplies to appropriate areas.
- Oversee the beverage sequence of service.
- Monitor guests' alcohol consumption and intervene as necessary according to company policy.
- Communicate any deviations from established standards to the Food & Beverage Management Team.
- Complete necessary daily financial tools and reports.
- Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to ensure accurate and relevant revenue capture and reporting.
- Solicit guest feedback through direct interaction and comment cards.
- Address guest complaints promptly to ensure corrections are made and satisfaction guarantees are honored.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and comfortable work environment.
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies ethically.
- Complete weekly payroll through the approved company system.
- Order dining room supplies and arrange for equipment maintenance as needed.
- Maintain professional grooming and appearance in accordance with established policies.
- Follow attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
- Complete all required training satisfactorily.
- Uphold the highest level of confidentiality at all times.
- Work at other properties as required.
- Perform all other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.

- High school diploma or equivalent and four (4) years' experience, two (2) of which were as a Food and/or Beverage Supervisor or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of Wines and Mixology required.

- Ability to operate liquor control systems and troubleshoot as necessary.
- Must complete TIPS training and certification within thirty (30) days of employment or provide proof of current certifications and maintain currency.

- Must be able to bend, kneel, reach, and stand or walk for extended periods with infrequent and brief rest periods.

- Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance with the regulations established by the LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission and be able to serve in the position under any other applicable law.
