Compensation Manager

Join a dynamic team at Carter's, where you'll play a key role in shaping the company's compensation strategy and driving business growth. As a Manager, Compensation, you'll support global compensation and HR analytics for all corporate, retail, and distribution locations. Your expertise will help drive the compensation strategy and execution for over 15,000 Carter's employees.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, communicate, and administer global broad-based compensation programs, including short-term incentives and long-term incentives (30% of time)
* Manage the annual merit review and midyear adjustments processes (20% of time)
* Maintain job evaluation process, including library of job descriptions across all functions, assignment of job codes, recording and maintaining records in jobs database (30% of time)
* Maintain compensation structures / wage ranges (10% of time)
* Lead annual salary survey process, recommend surveys to purchase, prepare participation materials, submit data, and identify gaps where additional survey data may be needed (10% of time)
Requirements:
* 4+ years of compensation experience
* Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to multi-task while remaining focused on accuracy
* Highly motivated with a strong customer central focus
Preferred skills and experience:
* Ability to partner and effectively communicate with members of the HR team as well as cross-functionally
* HRIS reporting capabilities, preferably within Workday
* Strong understanding of Human Resource principles
