Role Summary:

The Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for overseeing all facets of the HR function within the organization. This includes the development and execution of HR strategies, management of employee relations, oversight of compensation and benefits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. As a key member of the senior management team, this role collaborates closely with other executives to fulfill the organization’s mission and objectives.

  1. Proven leadership and management capabilities.
  2. Strong understanding of budgeting processes.
  3. Extensive experience in human resource management.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Up-to-date knowledge of healthcare legislation and labor laws.
  6. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on positive engagement.
  7. Ability to adopt a global perspective in HR practices.
  8. Minimum of five years of experience in the healthcare sector.
Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement comprehensive HR programs and strategies.
  2. Lead recruitment, retention, and training initiatives to meet departmental goals.
  3. Establish and enforce departmental policies and procedures.
  4. Oversee staff selection, training, and performance evaluations.
  5. Manage departmental budgets and ensure financial compliance.
  6. Prepare and present HR reports to senior management.
  7. Administer all HR policies across the organization.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
  9. Negotiate and manage union contracts.
  10. Conduct surveys to assess employee satisfaction and other HR metrics.
  11. Address disputes and grievances effectively.
  12. Maintain accurate and secure personnel records.
  13. Oversee employee benefits and related programs.
  14. Engage in continuous professional development.
  15. Participate in organizational meetings as necessary.
  16. Perform additional duties as required.
