Role Summary:

The Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for overseeing all facets of the HR function within the organization. This includes developing and executing HR strategies, managing employee relations, overseeing compensation and benefits, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating recruitment and retention efforts. The VP will collaborate closely with senior management to align HR initiatives with the overall mission and objectives of the organization.

Key Qualifications:

  3. Extensive experience in human resource management.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Up-to-date knowledge of healthcare legislation and labor laws.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement comprehensive HR programs and strategies.
  2. Establish departmental goals and develop policies for effective operations.
  3. Recruit, train, and manage HR staff, setting performance standards and conducting evaluations.
  4. Prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.
  5. Generate and maintain reports for senior management review.
  6. Administer HR policies across all areas of the organization.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
  8. Clarify and interpret organizational policies for staff.
  9. Negotiate and manage union contracts.
  10. Conduct surveys on employee turnover, compensation, and morale.
  11. Address disputes and grievances, recommending solutions.
  12. Maintain accurate personnel records and data security.
  13. Oversee employee benefits and related programs.
  14. Engage in continuous professional development through relevant training and affiliations.
  15. Participate in organizational meetings as necessary.
  16. Perform additional duties as assigned.
