Key Responsibilities:
The HR Coordinator is responsible for managing the onboarding process, which includes handling new hire documentation, conducting background checks, coordinating drug screenings, and completing I9/E-Verify processes. This role also involves processing status changes, termination paperwork, promotions, and other modifications while ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained prior to HRIS entry. The coordinator will maintain licensure and certification records to ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and regulatory standards. Additionally, this position will manage performance evaluations and keep personnel records current, while also supporting hospital recognition initiatives and addressing general Human Resources inquiries from employees.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required, or a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Prior experience in Human Resources is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
Compensation and Benefits:
Sherman Oaks Hospital offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package that allows employees to customize their benefits according to their personal needs. Our Total Rewards program includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, and various additional voluntary benefits. The estimated compensation range for this role, which encompasses wages, benefits, and other forms of remuneration, is between $25.00 and $31.97 per hour. The precise starting salary will be determined at the time of hiring, taking into account a variety of factors including skill set, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
