Responsibilities:
The HR Coordinator will manage the onboarding process for new hires, including the completion of necessary paperwork, background checks, and drug screening coordination. This role will also handle status changes, terminations, promotions, and ensure all modifications receive the required approvals before entering them into the HRIS. The HR Coordinator will maintain compliance by overseeing licensure and certification records and will keep personnel files current. Additionally, this position will support hospital recognition initiatives and assist employees with general HR inquiries.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required, or a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Prior experience in Human Resources is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
Sherman Oaks Hospital offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package that allows employees to customize their benefits to meet their personal needs. Our Total Rewards program includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, and various voluntary benefit options. The estimated compensation for this role ranges from $25.00 to $31.97 per hour, with the final offer determined based on various factors, including skills, experience, education, and certifications.
