Key Responsibilities:
The HR Coordinator will be responsible for:

  1. Processing new hire documentation, conducting background checks, coordinating drug screenings, and completing I9/E-Verify procedures.
  2. Managing status changes, termination paperwork, promotions, and other modifications while ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained prior to processing in the HRIS.
  3. Maintaining licensure and certification records to ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory standards.
  4. Processing employee evaluations and keeping personnel records current.
  5. Assisting with hospital recognition initiatives and addressing general Human Resources inquiries from employees.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree is required or a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  2. Strong interpersonal communication skills are essential.
  3. Prior experience in Human Resources is required.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
  5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits:
Sherman Oaks Hospital offers competitive remuneration and a comprehensive benefits package that allows employees to customize their benefits according to individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and various voluntary benefit options. The estimated compensation for this role, encompassing wages, benefits, and other forms of remuneration, ranges from $25.00 to $31.97. The precise starting compensation will be determined during the hiring process, taking into account various factors such as skill set, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
