Role OverviewWe're seeking a seasoned professional in business development or sales to join our team as a Director of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships. You'll play a pivotal role in expanding our reach, developing strategic initiatives, and forging new partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Develop strategic plans to enter new markets or expand within existing ones, identifying key opportunities for growth.
- Build, acquire, and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to inform the creation of products and services that meet market needs.
- Lead negotiations with new partners or clients, securing profitable deals that align with company goals and legal requirements.
- Cross-functional team leadership to ensure cohesive efforts towards business development goals.
- Represent Backdrop at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and forge strategic partnerships.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation in business development strategies.
