Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Data Coordinator to join our team at Millennium Physician Group. As a Medical Data Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our Care Team by acting as a liaison between providers, our MRA Team, and insurance carriers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Visit Data Collection: Gather and verify patient information to ensure accurate and timely data submission to insurance carriers.
  • Post-Visit Data Submission: Coordinate the completion of carrier attestation forms and supporting documentation, submitting them to carriers through established workflows.
  • Communication and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
  • Process Improvement: Identify trends and issues in processes, carrier responses, and provider feedback, communicating these findings to the team to drive continuous improvement.
  • Technical Skills: Utilize daily schedules, carrier websites, forms, fax/scanners, and other tools to complete daily tasks efficiently.
Requirements
  • Medical Assistant Certification: Preferred, but not required.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with providers, carriers, and team members.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using computers and standard office equipment, with a strong background in medical terminology and general coding knowledge.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate data collection and submission.
