Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage batch production and formulation processes.
  • Utilize various tools and equipment for mixing, including large mixers, scales, and hand tools.
  • Ensure precise measurements of raw materials and finished products.
  • Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to transport materials to designated areas.
  • Conduct Quality Control Tests on production batches.
  • Prepare batches for packaging and provide assistance as needed.
  • Support Chemists in collecting raw materials for laboratory tests.
  • Maintain a steady production pace to meet inventory targets.
  • Adhere to company quality control protocols.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Follow all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Participate in inventory assessments.
  • Safely operate machinery as trained.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance as required.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by management.
  • Maintain open communication with team members and other departments.
  • Keep management informed of any relevant product or safety concerns.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Must wear all required personal protective equipment.

Supervision

  • This role reports to the Liquids Production Manager.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in mixing, blending, or packaging, preferably in the paint or food industries.

Certifications

  • Valid Driver's License required.

Work Schedule

  • 6AM-4PM (Hours may vary).

  • Bi-Weekly pay schedule.
