Position: Safety and Security Specialist

Your essential contributions to our organization:

The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting regular inspections and monitoring of the company's premises to prevent criminal activities and ensure a secure environment.
  • Promptly reporting any suspicious activities to the General Manager and ensuring that appropriate personnel are informed without delay.
  • Maintaining constant communication with the General Manager and fellow security personnel, responding swiftly to emergency situations.
  • Escorting vendors upon their arrival to the premises.
  • Assisting fire and police officials during safety drills or emergency situations.
  • Monitoring surveillance systems for any unusual activities within the facility.
  • Providing detailed reports of daily activities and incidents to management.
  • Contacting law enforcement or fire department in case of emergencies.
  • Inspecting doors, windows, and gates after business hours to ensure the security of the property.
  • Investigating reported suspicious activities on the premises.
  • Legitimately detaining individuals suspected of criminal behavior until law enforcement arrives.
  • Removing discharged staff, trespassers, and other unauthorized individuals from the premises.
  • Serving as a backup delivery driver when necessary.

Additional responsibilities as required.

The qualifications we seek:

  • All candidates must be at least 21 years of age due to legal requirements.
  • A high school diploma or GED is essential.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in security-related roles is required.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Possession of a Security Guard training certification is preferred.

  • Maintaining composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Quickly learning and understanding the layout of the property and buildings.
  • Effective verbal communication abilities.

Work Schedule/Location:

  • Availability to be on-site throughout the week is required.

  • Extended periods spent at a desk monitoring surveillance equipment.
  • Requires significant amounts of sitting, walking, bending, and reaching.
