Overview:

This role involves managing the Medicaid Application Process, Financial Assistance Process, price estimation, and various support programs. The position acts as a resource for uninsured and underinsured patients, facilitating access to necessary services and establishing a pathway for revenue recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough interviews to accurately capture demographic information and verify insurance for newborns and obstetric transports.
  2. Assist clients in navigating the federally facilitated insurance marketplace.
  3. Collect deductibles, co-pays, and other applicable payments, including ongoing payment arrangements.
  4. Perform diligent follow-ups, including managing work queues, emails, CRM systems, and documentation related to insurance and COBRA.
  5. Facilitate the Medicaid intake process, including SSI, FAP, and CHC applications, and follow up on assigned accounts.
  6. Ensure compliance with No-Surprise-Billing regulations by providing written and verbal notifications of price estimates, including ABN and self-pay protocols.
  7. Collaborate with clinical teams and state resources to ensure timely enrollment with Medicaid primary care providers, including initial, retroactive, and change requests.
  8. Execute other related duties as assigned.

Associate Degree.

Required Work Experience:

One year of experience in a related field.

Recommended Work Experience:

Experience in Administrative Support, particularly with Direct_Epic.
