Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Coordinator will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to ensure payments are completed and expenses are controlled.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify, classify, compute, post, and record accounts payable data
  • Process bills, invoices, and bank deposits
  • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issues
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
  • Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts payable status
  • Resolve customer requests, questions, and complaints; provide information to improve customer service
Requirements
  • High school diploma required
  • No experience required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
  • Effective communication skills to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers, and governmental agencies
