Position Overview

Role Summary:

As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you will play a pivotal role in steering the development and strategic planning of the GEOINT Enterprise Architecture (GEA). Your expertise will be essential in mentoring mid-level and junior architects, ensuring the successful creation and execution of Enterprise architecture artifacts in accordance with established frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Government in directing architects in the creation, upkeep, and documentation of the GEA, ensuring it aligns with overarching strategies and operational concepts.
  • Conduct architecture assessments to provide insights that aid the government in making informed decisions amidst competing priorities.
  • Guide mid-level and junior Enterprise architect contractors in proposing modifications to architectural designs based on thorough analysis of requirements and emerging technologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field, or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 12 years of professional experience in government or industry in areas such as Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, or related frameworks.
  • Willingness to obtain a TS/SCI clearance and successfully complete a polygraph examination as required.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering, including processes, tools, and languages.
  • Federated Enterprise Architect Certifications, such as Certified Enterprise Architect.
  • Certification from the National Defense University, College of Information and Cyberspace in Enterprise Architecture.
