Responsibilities

Overall Assignment Description:
Senior-level Enterprise Architects lead the development and strategic planning of the GEOINT Enterprise Architecture (GEA).

They oversee the technical efforts of mid-level and junior architects in creating and executing methodologies for Enterprise architecture artifacts in accordance with DoDAF and IC PAG.


Key Duties Include:

  • Assisting the Government in directing architects in the formulation, upkeep, and documentation of the GEA, ensuring alignment with NGA Strategy and CONOPs.
  • Leading architectural analysis to provide the government with insights to support trade-offs among competing priorities.
  • Mentoring Mid-level and Junior-level Enterprise architect contractors in proposing modifications to architecture design based on requirement analysis and emerging technologies.
Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

Required:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM discipline, or 12 years of experience as an Enterprise Architect in lieu of a degree.
  • 12 years of relevant experience in government or industry in areas such as Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), or Intelligence Community's (IC) Program Architecture Guidance (PAG).
  • Willingness to obtain a TS/SCI clearance and successfully complete a polygraph examination within 30 days of employment or at the customer's request - Contract requires TS/SCI with poly.

Desired:

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages.

Federated Enterprise Architect Certifications:
Certified Enterprise Architect

  • National Defense University, College of Information and Cyberspace, Enterprise Architecture Certification.
Target Salary Range:
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
