Position Summary:

The Technical Enterprise Architect serves as a recognized subject matter expert in Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Planning. This role is essential in integrating enterprise architecture considerations that deliver strategic value and readiness across people, processes, and technology. The architect applies industry standards and business management practices to provide specialized guidance on complex IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Agile Enterprise Architecture teams.
  • Develop and sustain IT Modernization Plans.
  • Analyze and document business architectures.
  • Formulate transition plans from current to target IT architecture states.
  • Identify challenges, impacts, and risks associated with IT modifications and propose mitigations.
  • Establish and refine governance for architecture alignment.
  • Ensure technology implementations align with the enterprise mission.
  • Create enterprise architecture artifacts, including current and target state business process and data models.
  • Assess business needs against technology trends.
  • Devise strategies to align organizations with mission requirements.
  • Facilitate strategic discussions with senior IT leadership and engage with both IT and non-IT communities.
  • Utilize knowledge of emerging technologies and industry practices to enhance solution delivery for users and developers.
  • Demonstrate experience in Enterprise Architecture, particularly in developing effective transition plans and investments.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments, and analysis of alternatives.
  • Work with ServiceNow and ins-pi.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience with the Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF).
  • Familiarity with the COBIT framework.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable engaging with executives, managers, and technical teams.
  • Experience supporting the Federal Government.
  • Proven experience in aligning technology investments with strategic objectives.
  • Expertise in applying engineering methodologies for enterprise-wide business process evaluations and modernization projects.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Agile Product Management.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and reside in the contiguous 48 states.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
