Position Title: Senior Software Solutions Architect

Security Clearance: TS/SCI Required

Role Summary:

Elevate your professional journey with Tulk LLC as a Senior Software Solutions Architect, where you will play a pivotal role in crafting and developing innovative software solutions. This position is deeply intertwined with the realms of Enterprise Architecture, API design, data services, cloud technologies, and infrastructure management. Your objective: translate user needs into strategic solutions that align with our Enterprise Architecture framework. As a Senior Software Solutions Architect, you will guide the design process, making essential architectural decisions and establishing the technical benchmarks that will shape the future of our software initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Guidance: Mentor Mid-Level and Junior software architects in the creation, development, maintenance, and documentation of software solution architectures. Ensure alignment with the overarching Enterprise architecture and compliance with our standards.
  • Analysis and Improvement: Collaborate with team members to perform thorough analyses of user requirements, workflows, and challenges. Your expertise will drive automation and enhancements in our existing software systems.
  • Innovation: Lead the initiative to propose modifications to software solution architecture design. Your insights, grounded in requirements analysis and awareness of emerging technologies, will influence future developments.
  • Technical Leadership: Be the catalyst for high-level software design decisions and technical standards. This encompasses defining coding best practices, selecting appropriate tools, and determining the most effective platforms.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, Information Technology, Mathematics, System Engineering, or a related STEM discipline. Alternatively, demonstrate equivalent Senior-level experience as a Software Architect.
  • Significant experience at a Senior level or higher in government or industry, particularly in domains such as Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Software Architecture and Design, or Data Architecture.
  • Expertise in multiple areas including cloud computing, service-oriented architecture, containerization, microservices, API development, or DevSecOps.
  • A proven history of delivering functional products to clients within a modern, cloud-centric software environment.

Preferred:

  • A Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering, including relevant processes, tools, and languages.
  • Previous experience with NGA and/or NSG/ASG programs/projects, providing valuable insights from the Intelligence Community.
  • Prior involvement in IC or DoD programs/projects.
  • Knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or the Intelligence Community's (IC) Program Architecture Guidance (PAG).
