Position Title: Senior Software Solutions Architect

Security Clearance: TS/SCI Required

Role Summary:

Advance your career with Tulk LLC as a Senior Software Solutions Architect, where you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of innovative software solutions. This position is closely linked to the expansive domains of Enterprise Architecture, API design, data services, cloud technologies, and infrastructure management. Your objective will be to convert user requirements into strategic solutions that align with our Enterprise Architecture framework. As a Senior Software Solutions Architect, you will lead the initiative, making essential design decisions and establishing the technical standards that will shape the future of our software development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Guidance: Mentor and guide Mid-Level and Junior Software Architects in creating, developing, maintaining, and documenting software architecture solutions. Ensure these architectures are in harmony with the Enterprise architecture and fulfill our requirements.
  • Analysis and Improvement: Collaborate with our team to perform thorough analyses of user needs, processes, and challenges. Your insights will drive automation and enhancements to our existing software systems.
  • Innovation: Lead the initiative in proposing modifications to software architecture design. Your expertise, grounded in requirements analysis and awareness of emerging technologies, will influence future developments.
  • Technical Leadership: Be the key contributor to high-level software design decisions and technical standards. This includes defining best practices for coding, selecting appropriate tools, and choosing the most effective platforms.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, Information Technology, Mathematics, System Engineering, or a related STEM discipline. Alternatively, demonstrate equivalent Senior-level experience as a Software Architect.
  • Senior-level experience in government or industry, particularly in areas such as Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Software Architecture and Design, or Data Architecture.
  • Proficiency in multiple areas including cloud computing, service orientation, containerization, micro-services, API development, or DevSecOps.
  • A proven history of delivering functional products to clients within a modern, cloud-based software environment.

Preferred:

  • A Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering, including processes, tools, and languages.
  • Previous experience with NGA and/or NSG/ASG programs/projects, providing valuable insights from the Intelligence Community.
  • Prior involvement in IC or DoD programs/projects.
  • Understanding of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or the Intelligence Community's (IC) Program Architecture Guidance (PAG).
