Responsibilities

Are you seeking a role where you can lead and design enterprise lifecycle systems engineering activities? Join our Chief Architect/Front Office team as a contractor, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of remote sensing systems.

As a Senior Systems Architect, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Defining enterprise systems architecture strategies and providing technical leadership and guidance.
  • Implementing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual design to development and beyond.
  • Facilitating Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and engineering working groups to assess and enhance the maturity of engineering artifacts and architecture products.
  • Delivering subject matter expertise to teams, translating requirements into actionable features, and leading planning events to support system milestones.
  • Continuously assessing and improving MBSE and systems engineering processes for greater efficiency.
  • Engaging with clients and stakeholders regularly to ensure alignment with customer standards and processes.
  • Coordinating risk management efforts and facilitating action closure with various Acquisition Offices.
Qualifications
  • Experience: BS with 10-12 years, MS with 8-10 years, or PhD with 5-7 years in a relevant field.
  • Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance with Poly.
  • Over 8 years of experience in aerospace systems engineering and architecture.
  • Degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of mission capabilities, including GEOINT, SIGINT, and Multi-INT domains.
  • Expertise in mission technical capabilities and system performance analysis.
  • Experience in Requirements Engineering, CONOPs development, and system integration.
  • Ability to adapt and sustain MBSE principles within an agile development framework.
