Position Overview:

The Technical Enterprise Architect serves as a key authority in Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Planning. This role involves integrating strategic considerations into enterprise architecture to ensure value delivery and organizational preparedness across various domains including personnel, processes, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead teams focused on Agile Enterprise Architecture.
  • Develop and sustain IT modernization strategies.
  • Analyze and document business architecture frameworks.
  • Create transition strategies from existing to future IT architecture.
  • Identify challenges, impacts, and risks linked to IT transformations and propose mitigations.
  • Establish and uphold governance for architectural consistency.
  • Ensure technology implementations align with organizational missions.
  • Produce enterprise architecture documentation, including current and future state business process and data models.
  • Assess business requirements against emerging technology trends.
  • Formulate strategies to align organizations with their mission objectives.
  • Facilitate strategic dialogues with senior IT executives and engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Utilize cutting-edge technologies and industry practices to improve solution delivery.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Enterprise Architecture, particularly in formulating effective transition plans and investments.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments, and alternatives analysis.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and ins-pi is preferred.

Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF).
  • Understanding of the COBIT framework.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with executives, managers, and technical teams.
  • Experience in supporting Federal Government initiatives.
  • Proven expertise in Enterprise Architecture, particularly in applying EA concepts for effective transition planning and investment strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior leadership to align technology investments with strategic goals.
  • Experience in applying engineering methodologies to lead significant enterprise-wide business process evaluations and modernization efforts.
