What You'll Do:

As an Escrow Officer, you play a crucial role in facilitating home ownership. You act as the essential link between our processes and the clients we serve. Your responsibilities begin with a thorough review of contracts and adherence to specific instructions. Throughout the transaction, you ensure that all necessary documentation is processed accurately and efficiently. You collaborate with agents and their clients to maintain momentum, confirming that titles are clear, taxes are settled, and loans are secured. Ultimately, you oversee the final stages, ensuring that no funds or properties are exchanged until every condition has been fulfilled.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Master of All Trades: Understand the nuances of the contract from start to finish, ensuring a timely, efficient, and error-free closing process.
  • Detail-Oriented: Confirm that all documentation is complete to guarantee timely and accurate escrow closures.
  • Financial Oversight: Collaborate with lenders and underwriters to ensure all details are meticulously addressed for successful transaction funding.
  • Relationship Builder: Cultivate and maintain connections with key industry stakeholders, including agents, attorneys, lenders, surveyors, and government entities, to facilitate smooth transaction management.
  • Business Developer: Engage with new agents to build trust and confidence, creating opportunities to promote our services while providing exceptional support to retain existing clients.
  • Mentor: Guide escrow assistants, fostering their professional growth through training, delegation, and support.
  • Closing Specialist: Be present during the closing process, ensuring it is a positive and memorable experience for all parties involved.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; commitment to ongoing education as required.
  • Experience: Two to three years of experience in escrow, encompassing both front-end and back-end operations.
  • Certification: Notary public and escrow officer licenses.
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the closing process.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal abilities to keep all parties informed and address any issues that arise.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of experience in escrow closing.
  • An established client base that may transition to our company.
