About the Role

Clean Harbors is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales and Service Representative to join our team. As a Sales and Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling products and services, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales and Marketing: Sell products and services to our clients, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to increase sales.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate our equipment, including Class B box trucks, to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products and services in a defined route.
  • Logistics and Operations: Manage daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pick-ups in a timely manner, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and rules, as well as Clean Harbors' environmental health and safety operating guidelines.
Requirements
  • Class B CDL: Possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License.
  • Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement: Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
  • Basic Computer and Math Skills: Possess basic computer and math skills, including the ability to use software applications and perform calculations.
  • Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Possess good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong Customer Service Skills: Possess strong customer service skills, including the ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints.
  • Commercial Route Driving Experience: Possess commercial route driving experience, preferably with a Class C or Non-CDL license.
