Building Automation Controls Engineer

Position Overview
We are currently looking for a Building Automation Controls Engineer. This role involves the successful design, startup, commissioning, and servicing of HVAC Direct Digital Controls projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop advanced building automation systems.
2. Review and interpret technical plans and drawings to initiate and commission HVAC Direct Digital Controls for mechanical, chilled water, and air systems.
3. Utilize essential software tools, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Windows, Visio, QuickBooks, AutoCAD, SiteBuilder, and Eikon.
4. Manage and troubleshoot Windows-based operating systems, Ethernet networks, internet-based systems, and HVAC DDC I/O instruments and devices.
5. Diagnose and resolve issues with DDC systems to ensure optimal performance.
6. Implement operational sequences and programming logic into control logic software.
7. Identify and debug issues in software and electrical installations.
8. Adjust and fine-tune control algorithms (PID's) for precise system performance.
9. Modify and update HVAC DDC system graphics, setpoints, addressing points, and drawings.
10. Investigate and address customer concerns to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
11. Place and track orders for products and equipment using office software tools.
12. Coordinate with external system specialists to ensure successful project completion.
Qualifications:
A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or five or more years of relevant experience is required.
Intermediate or higher knowledge of HVAC systems, Windows-based systems, and Direct Digital Controls is essential.
Experience with one or more of the following platforms is preferred: Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Distech, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Trane, Delta Controls, Automated Logic, or similar. Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit are necessary for success in this role.
