Insight Global is collaborating with a prominent organization in the Agricultural Sciences sector, seeking a dedicated and strategic Automation Controls Specialist to enhance their team.

The ideal candidate will effectively cultivate and sustain partnerships within the scientific community, aiming to improve research productivity through innovative industrial automation control solutions tailored for research laboratories.

This position emphasizes a robust understanding of automation controls, particularly in relation to process timing, concurrent processes, and production enhancement.

The selected individual will operate both autonomously and collaboratively, engaging with existing team members and processes, while closely liaising with scientific business partners and technology providers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct process mapping and optimization on current control frameworks
  • Implement tailored machine control system modifications (process enhancements, restructuring control software, etc.)
  • Create process flow diagrams, schematics, and additional project documentation
  • Evaluate equipment specifications and performance criteria to devise suitable designs
  • Work alongside external vendors to identify, assess, and incorporate their hardware and technologies into organizational processes
  • Support the installation and validation of equipment for operational use
