Role Summary:

The Field Sales Engineer will spearhead sales initiatives across North America, concentrating on high-growth market segments within the Greater Cincinnati and Louisville regions.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business development while managing existing customer relationships. This includes guiding all phases of the sales cycle, from identifying potential clients to fostering ongoing partnerships with current customers, and generating sales leads for our diverse range of products, systems, and services. Additionally, you will manage a select group of existing accounts (including end-users, OEMs, and distribution partners) while actively seeking opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

You will collaborate closely with our comprehensive Sales team and internal partners to ensure exceptional customer support throughout the sales journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage your strong communication and networking abilities to cultivate relationships and drive sales growth with our clientele.
  • Identify key decision-makers at Target Key Accounts and End Users to formulate and execute sales strategies that align with our value propositions for their specific applications.
  • Prepare proposals, including performing basic thermal calculations to ascertain appropriate heating requirements and devise effective heating solutions.
  • Efficiently manage the various stages of the order cycle, including order entry, approval drawings, and material return authorizations.
  • Reclaim previous business while expanding sales within a designated customer portfolio.
  • Monitor sales performance and bookings for assigned accounts.
  • Foster a culture of creativity in business development.
  • Participate in industry events to enhance awareness of our solutions and build relationships with key stakeholders at the venue, brand, ownership, management, and developer levels.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in technical outside sales and/or the service industry.
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering is preferred, though other technical degrees will be considered.
  • Experience in developing new business relationships within OEMs, distribution channels, and end-users.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented, with a proven track record of surpassing sales targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Proven experience in problem-solving, creative thinking, and promptly addressing personnel and project-related challenges.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
  • Exceptional organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
