We are in search of Lead Client Support Specialists with 2 - 3 years of relevant experience. Key Responsibilities for the Lead Client Support Specialist:

  • Deliver case management services, including Community Psychiatric Support Treatment (CPST) and Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) to individuals with severe mental health conditions in both outpatient settings and the community. Services may also extend to individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders.
  • Initiate, coordinate, and oversee evaluations to determine each client's needs in various areas, including living conditions, financial matters, benefits, legal issues, physical and mental health, daily living activities, vocational and educational needs, social support, and recreational activities.
  • Engage clients through proactive outreach to help them articulate their needs, offer services to address these needs, and regularly reassess outcomes with the client.
  • Acquire knowledge of mental health treatment resources and basic needs, establish connections with service agencies, understand client service utilization, and explore alternative resource opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison with other service personnel.
  • Delegate tasks to secondary and supportive service providers while monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of these services.
  • Assist clients in achieving their goals and enhancing their independence and productivity through support, education, and training in utilizing personal and community resources.
  • Review and document services and activities, tracking progress in accordance with organizational protocols.
  • Support the onboarding and initial training of new client support specialists.
  • Serve as a resource for less experienced staff in client management.
  • May represent Greater Cincinnati Behavior in collaborative partnerships and observational experiences.
  • Provide services to individuals in designated service areas.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Human Services discipline or a High School diploma with a minimum of three years of experience in Behavioral Health.
  • Two years of experience as a Mental Health Care Manager is required.
  • Experience in social services and behavioral health is essential.
  • This position necessitates frequent travel using the employee's personal vehicle. A valid driver's license, vehicle, and insurable driving record are mandatory.
