Manufacturing Operations Manager
Job Type: Full-time Salary: $80,000-$85,000k/year DOE
Shift: M-F, Days
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee the planning, directing, and coordination of the manufacturing department.
  • Establish and communicate production schedules and objectives to relevant teams.
  • Analyze equipment performance, material supply, and workforce needs.
  • Ensure product quality standards are met consistently.
  • Manage, mentor, and supervise department leaders and production staff.

Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collect, verify, and report on production metrics regularly.
  • Assist in scheduling production and indirect personnel as per directives.
  • Track and report attendance and vacation in collaboration with the Operations Coordinator.
  • Gather and report environmental data, including water and air quality.
  • Maintain and communicate accurate production and inventory reports to management and sales teams.
  • Implement corrective action policies, conduct employee evaluations, and manage training schedules as necessary.
  • Participate in recruitment and assessment of potential candidates.

Safety, Inspections, and Maintenance:
  • Manage inventory tracking for parts, equipment, and supplies across the facility.
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels for smooth operations.
  • Oversee the execution of quality control standard operating procedures, including the PFI Standards Program.
  • Ensure the safe operation of the facility while coordinating safety programs.
  • Implement safety protocols in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Management or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting is ideal.
  • Possess a proactive, analytical mindset with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to perform basic to complex mathematical calculations.
  • Willingness to work in a high-temperature and high-humidity environment.
