Production Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000-$85,000k/year DOE

Shift: M-F, Days

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee the planning, direction, and coordination of the production division.
  • Establish and communicate production timelines and objectives to relevant departments.
  • Evaluate equipment performance, manage material supply, and coordinate workforce needs.
  • Ensure product quality standards are met consistently.
  • Effectively manage, mentor, and oversee department supervisors and production staff.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Gather, verify, and report daily, weekly, and monthly production metrics.
  • Assist in scheduling production and indirect personnel as directed by management.
  • Track and report attendance and vacation in collaboration with the Operations Coordinator.
  • Collect and report environmental data regularly (e.g., water and air quality).
  • Generate and maintain accurate production and inventory reports for management and sales teams.
  • Supervise corrective action processes, employee evaluations, and training programs as necessary.
  • Recruit and assess potential candidates for employment.

Safety, Inspections, and Maintenance:

  • Maintain comprehensive inventory tracking for parts, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels to support efficient facility operations.
  • Implement and oversee all quality control standard operating procedures, including the PFI Standards Program.
  • Ensure the safe operation of the facility while managing safety programs at the plant level.
  • Adhere to all reporting requirements set forth by regulatory agencies.

Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting is ideal.
  • Possess a proactive approach, strong analytical skills, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency and the ability to perform various mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to work in environments with high temperatures and humidity.
