Job Summary:

Navy Times is seeking a highly skilled Parts and Service Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain great customer relationships to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Market and sell the value of our trailer service business, including mobile and shop repairs/maintenance, and support our refrigeration service business.
  • Market and sell our trailer parts business, develop new customers, and support existing customer parts needs.
  • Identify and pursue new markets, customers, and applications within our territory.
  • Sell and develop maintenance and parts agreements for customers' fleet needs.
  • Sell our aftermarket business and develop relationships within the transportation industry.
  • Sell and support our APU, solar, bus air purification, and other related business.
  • Develop a good knowledge of competitive products and suppliers.
  • Provide input on annual forecasts for territory potential.
  • Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally.
  • Work with service and parts managers on goals and marketing ideas and branch staff on repair schedules.
  • Keep accurate customer records.
  • Ability to maintain composure and react professionally during periods of stress and overcome objectives effectively.
  • Use effective time management techniques and demonstrate the ability to prioritize and multitask without negatively impacting performance or results.
  • Make 300 sales calls/visits/contacts per month, or at least 10-15 per day.

Requirements:

  • Highly prefer 3+ years' transportation sales experience in trailer parts and service, refrigeration, commercial truck, auto, or trailer rental industry.
  • Excellent organizational, influence, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have a good driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Team player with high customer service focus.
  • Ability to multitask and work quickly and accurately.
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, CRM systems, and basic ability to operate industry-specific PC programs.
