Northeast Family Services is actively looking for a committed individual to take on the role of Financial Services Coordinator within our growing organization. In this position, you will be tasked with delivering financial assistance and support to our clients across various Northeast Family Services locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial consultation to scheduled clients.
  • Clarify cost estimates and discuss insurance options.
  • Generate client billing statements.
  • Assist clients in completing financial aid applications.
  • Resolve client inquiries related to medical billing.
  • Establish payment plans and arrangements.
  • Conduct follow-ups on payments through mail and phone.
  • Address client questions regarding their bills.
  • Process payments against outstanding balances.
  • Monitor overdue accounts and follow up accordingly.
  • Report directly to the Billing Manager.

Desired Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with healthcare environments, medical terminology, and information systems.
  • Knowledge of insurance providers and patient financial obligations.
  • Experience in processing payments.
  • Strong attention to detail along with excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to maintain confidentiality of medical records.
