Join Our Team as a Patient Service Representative

At the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care by performing various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient registration functions, including confirmation of appointments, updating demographic information, and insurance verification.
  • Answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner, using a standardized script.
  • Review clinicians' schedules in advance to ensure accurate demographics and insurance verification.
  • Collect co-pays and issue receipts, balancing payments against receipts at the end of each shift.
  • Notify staff of patient arrivals and follow cancellation and rescheduling procedures.
  • Resolve insurance issues to ensure patients have appropriate coverage for services.
  • Assist patients with enrollment in available insurance plans.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Training in a medical or administrative field.
  • Computer knowledge and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
