Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a positive and engaging store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences
- Provide personalized service to create a positive and lasting impression
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Sales and Merchandising
- Meet or exceed sales targets through effective sales techniques and product knowledge
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of products, including features, benefits, and pricing
- Merchandise products in a visually appealing and organized manner
- Store Operations
- Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash and credit transactions, including handling returns and exchanges
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor and stockroom
- Teamwork and Communication
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and customer service goals
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience preferred
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 75 pounds
