Position Overview:

The Senior Cybersecurity Assurance Leader will serve as the principal authority in guiding the implementation and adherence to Information Assurance (IA) policies and training requirements within the designated Project Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of the Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) program, ensuring compliance and reporting procedures are effectively implemented.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and analyses to identify vulnerabilities within Information Systems (IS) in accordance with DoD and Army regulations.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders to ensure the integration of security controls throughout the system life cycle.
  • Oversee the design and evaluation of system architecture to align with the cybersecurity components of the DoD Enterprise Architecture.
  • Establish and maintain a robust organizational cybersecurity program, including architecture, policies, and processes.
  • Monitor and review compliance with cybersecurity policies, ensuring synchronization of inspections and tests with relevant parties.
  • Act as the primary technical consultant for cybersecurity matters related to DoD IS and platform information technology systems.
  • Advise on the implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures, ensuring effective incident reporting and response mechanisms are in place.
  • Support IT and cybersecurity initiatives, providing strategic direction for program activities and resources.
  • Research and identify technologies to address customer requirements and enhance cybersecurity capabilities.
  • Facilitate collaboration with stakeholders to address cybersecurity concerns and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a minimum of ten years of experience in cybersecurity and Information Assurance (IA) security. A Bachelor's Degree in IT, INFOSEC, or a related field from an accredited institution is required. Relevant certifications such as IAT Level II and Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) are preferred.
