Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, recommend, and maintain information systems and cybersecurity policies, procedures, and systems, ensuring proper access management for all technological components.
  • Align cybersecurity architecture and design with industry standards and best practices, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities, analyze the root causes of security breaches, and propose measures to prevent future incidents. Develop methodologies for conducting risk assessments and compliance audits.
  • Implement cybersecurity policies and strategies to protect against intrusions, fraud, and data breaches. Provide leadership and guidance to team members and managers.
  • Oversee the performance and outcomes of multiple related units, developing strategic departmental plans that prioritize business and operational objectives.
  • Manage resources and contribute to policy development within your area of responsibility.
  • Make informed decisions based on resource availability and organizational goals.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Networking or Security, including at least two years in a leadership or managerial capacity.

Preferred Experience:
  • Proven experience in leading cybersecurity teams.
  • Demonstrated skills in personnel management, including recruitment and performance evaluation.
  • Experience in client-facing roles within the Public Sector.
  • Familiarity with Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC), Cloud Security, audit support, and security planning.
  • Exposure to business development, managed services, and presales support.
  • Strong knowledge of NIST standards, relationship management, and technical expertise in Cloud Security (AWS & Azure).
