Position Overview:

  • Review, test, and refine information systems and cybersecurity policies, ensuring compliance with access management protocols for all technology components.
  • Align cybersecurity architecture and processes with industry standards and organizational objectives, ensuring comprehensive protection of information systems.
  • Detect security vulnerabilities, analyze the root causes of incidents, and propose solutions to prevent future occurrences. Develop methodologies for conducting risk assessments and compliance evaluations.
  • Enforce cybersecurity policies and implement measures to safeguard against unauthorized access, fraud, and data breaches. Provide leadership and guidance to team members and managers.
  • Accountable for the performance outcomes of multiple interconnected units, formulating departmental strategies and priorities.
  • Manage resources effectively and contribute to policy development within the cybersecurity domain.
  • Make informed decisions based on resource availability and strategic goals.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Networking or Security, including at least two years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
Preferred Experience:
  • Proven experience in leading cybersecurity teams.
  • Background in personnel management, encompassing recruitment and performance evaluation.
  • Experience in client-facing roles within the public sector.
  • Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Cloud Security, audit support, and security planning.
  • Exposure to business development, managed services, and presales support.
  • In-depth knowledge of NIST standards, relationship management, and technical expertise in Cloud Security (AWS & Azure).
