Safety Analysis Engineer

**Your Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform and support state-of-the-art calculations and validation experiments as required under the mentorship of your manager or more senior engineers, with a focus on maintaining and improving safety within the nuclear industry.
* Conduct engineering calculations related to nuclear safety, fluid flow, probability risk assessment, severe accident analysis, equipment qualification, heat and mass transfer, and other duties as assigned by manager.
* Prepare appropriate documentation supporting evaluations and analyses.
* Verify routine design evaluations and analyses performed by others, as qualified.
* Interface on a limited basis with customers, vendors, and other internal functional groups on engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.
* Develop skills necessary to assume more independent assignments and support the business strategic initiatives.
* Identify and recommend improvements in processes on a continuing basis and assist in implementation, as well as identify and assist in the development of new business opportunities.
* Plan and schedule own work to meet assignment requirements within schedule and budgetary requirements.
