About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Engineer II to join our Thermal Hazards Group at Fauske & Associates, LLC, a Westinghouse Electric Company affiliated company. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct engineering support to operations, covering all aspects of reactive chemical hazards as they pertain to process safety.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with clients to determine project scope and solve process safety problems
  • Analyze and develop proposals to renew business opportunities and implement strategic plans
  • Design and execute experimental techniques to gather thermal data for reactive materials
  • Analyze data from experiments and perform engineering calculations to make recommendations to clients
  • Provide technical writing and training to users on the operation of calorimeters and associated engineering analysis
  • Support the implementation of quality programs such as ISO 17025 and ISO 9001
  • Contribute to marketing efforts by writing blogs and newsletter articles
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Nuclear, Mechanical) or equivalent required
  • 3 years of experience in process safety industry
  • Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills
  • Ability to execute projects in a timely manner with multitasking skills
  • Experience with C++, Fortran, Visual Basic, MathCAD, and/or Python preferred
