Job Summary:

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at a prestigious Resort in Door County, WI. As a key member of the culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring exceptional food quality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our guests and exceed their expectations
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute banquets and events
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in resort food and beverage operations, with a focus on banquets and events
  • Proven track record of success in managing kitchen staff and maintaining high-quality food standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
