About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Team Member to join our shipboard team at American Cruise Lines. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for producing high-quality meals for our guests while working closely with the Executive Chef/Sous Chef to create diversified menus based on fresh ingredients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work directly with the Executive Chef/Sous Chef to develop and implement menus that showcase regional and local specialties.
  • Organize and manage kitchen processes to ensure efficient meal production and high-quality dishes.
  • Prepare and present meals that meet the established menu choices and adhere to guests' dietary requests.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure seamless meal services.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of culinary experience in a full-service resort, hotel, country club, or full-service restaurant.
  • Ability to work 14 hours per day, 7 days a week while onboard the ship.
  • Experience cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a focus on food safety standards.
  • Ability to multitask, take direction, and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and complete a criminal background check.
What We Offer
