Forensic Administrative Coordinator III

Position Overview:
The Eastern Laboratory's Administrative Section within the Department of Forensic Science is seeking a dedicated individual to deliver routine to moderately complex clerical and administrative assistance to scientific and technical personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely and accurate preparation of various reports.
- Data entry of case information into computer systems.
- Management of administrative files and supplies.
- Processing of administrative documents such as requisition forms and invoices.
- Distribution of mail and communication messages.
- Other essential administrative functions as required.
Employment Details:
This is a wage position with a limit of 1,500 working hours per agency within a 12-month timeframe. Employees in this role may not exceed an average of 29 hours per week. This position does not offer state benefits.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in an administrative office setting, providing a comprehensive range of administrative services, including:
- Managing business-related telephone communications.
- Document formatting, typing, and word processing.
- Mail distribution and processing of official documents.
- File setup and maintenance.
- Visitor reception.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to prepare, format, and proofread documents effectively.
- Capability to coordinate and execute office functions independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships in a team environment.
Additional Considerations:
- Experience with high-volume data entry and filing systems.
- Familiarity with document management systems.
- Experience using computerized tracking systems for data management.
